Thread: D-Day Dice:: Rules:: Unit Marker face change timing

I've played this a few times now and have a question about the timing of this rule (ie. why it's in phase 2 and not first thing of phase 1)...

In playing, you roll the dice, count all the goodies and collect.

THEN, you change the unit marker facing. After which, you decide if you're buying something and immediately have to move (if you're marker is showing the red arrow up face).

This is a quick change and sometimes I end up forgetting to change the marker facing after all the excitement of the roll.

Would it not be easier/better to change the marker facing in "phase 0" (first thing of the round). That way, it's easier to remember, instead of doing it right before the move phase).

If one were going to move using the Battle Cry (?) option, the marker can be changed when that is determined to be the case (that would be the exception).

Any thoughts/reason as to why my idea wouldn't work better?
